Redpoint’s IoMvT helps industrial workplace managers decrease the risk of costly accidents with collision warnings and partners with vehicle manufacturers to make active collision avoidance possible. By geo-fencing zones and connecting zones to vehicles and personnel, safety hazards can be managed. Redpoint’s real-time location system (RTLS) consists of four key elements: WIN anchors, location tags, an RTLS server, and a web portal.

The wireless infrastructure network (WIN) anchors form a virtual, wireless, geofenced environment. Location tags attached to important objects, vehicles, or personnel generate their locations in real-time. The RTLS server tracks and identifies these objects, vehicles, or personnel and issues specific instructions to them with its built-in intelligence. The application web portal (SiteWise) visualizes their locations in a real-time view and historical view.

The system is powerful, versatile, and highly configurable, enabling you to build complete solutions to track the movement of hundreds of objects, define their access parameters, and improve workflow.

Redpoint’s RTLS also integrates with existing or third-party systems for more operational efficiency. For those with proprietary or specialized applications, it is easy to develop packaging to enclose a tag’s core electronics. For reporting on other types of events, you can use our public APIs to monitor the state of other sensors and inputs.
