The collaboration will help drive the adoption of high-precision RTLS solutions in the Industrial Sector based on Decawave's Ultra-Wideband (UWB) wireless micro-location technology. The two partners are jointly exhibiting at the 2016 Bosch Connected World event, on March 9-10 in Berlin, Germany. They will demonstrate how real-time location technology applications can be used to enhance connectivity in end-user applications for manufacturing customers and enable them to automate their systems for enhanced production turnaround and efficiency.
Quantitec offers an indoor-positioning system that combines the benefits of inertial sensor and radio-based technology designed for system providers embedding location-based services into their end-user applications for accurate location solutions and connectivity. Specializing in automation and industrial applications, Quantitec's solution supports a range of use cases for providers' manufacturing systems such as forklift, pallet and asset tracking, indoor fleet management, key personnel management, and tool control in manufacturing and logistics, including exact location of vehicles, increased worker safety as well as optimization of logistical processes via product track and trace capabilities for full production and supply chain transparency.
As part of the partnership, Decawave and Quantitec are supporting Bosch with advanced location technology as a key element of the Track and Trace solution which will be showcased as part of Bosch COO Dr. Werner Struth's keynote demo at Bosch Connected World 2016 on March 10. To make this demo even more realistic, KRALLMAN AG brought its expertise to integrate its comprehensive analytics solution delivering high value added information to businesses.
