Scensor ScenSor is a single chip, IEEE802.15.4a compliant device, which facilitates the location of up to 11,000 assets to a precision of 10cm indoors, even while moving at up to 5m/s (the speed of a forklift truck). ScenSor operates off a single watch battery for up to 10 years. ScenSor can act as a full functionality device (FFD) or a reduced functionality device (RFD). The FFD is known as a Scen (Seek, control, execute, network), while the RFD is known as a Sor (Sense, obey, respond). A Scen can also operate as a Sor. The ScenSor family will expand to include
enhanced Scens (higher data rates, additional frequency bands, inclusion
of MCU and other features), and “stripped down” Sors
(even lower power, even lower cost, transmit only tags etc). |
