DecaWave is currently seeking smart, talented and ambitious individuals to fill the following engineering roles:
RF Team Lead
- Proven team leadership to lead and develop DecaWave’s analog team
- At least 10 years industrial experience.
- Track record of successful radio delivery
- Strong RF CMOS design skills, experience in delivering Wideband radio to production.
- Ability to do radio architecting as well as silicon level design.
- Hands on experience of CAD tools
- Strong communications skills (management, marketing, customers)
- Manage the team’s resources, and work effectively with other teams in particular the digital baseband team.
- Demonstrate the discipline of being able to work to a rigorous design process with stage gates, check lists and appropriate documentation
- Responsibility for specifications, architectures, designs, implementation and test for analog function
- Monitor and report team progress against project timelines.
Senior RF Front-end Design Engineers.
- Proven RFCMOS track record in volume production
- Participate in day to day planning and operation of the analog team, feasibility analysis, specification preparation and review
- Experience in low power circuit design techniques for wideband radio.
- Experience in successful implementation of some or all of RF front end blocks (Switch, DA, LNA, Up-convert mixer, down convert mixer) and/or Synthesiser blocks (VCOs’, Prescalars)
- Designs shared with Team lead.
- At least 5 years industrial experience
- Transfer to production skills with respect to radio characterisatio of test and production radios.
- Ability to floorplan and model board design as input to final evaluation board layout.
- Excellent communications skills and ability to work on own initiative to come up with innovative solutions
- Ability to carry out critical RF layouts
Senior Analog baseband Design Engineer
- Proven analog CMOS track record in volume production
- Experience in design of Transmit and Receive analog baseband strips including Rx filter and auto tune, PGA, pulse generator.
- Experience in circuit optimisation and low power design techniques
- At least 5 years industrial experience
- Excellent communications skills and ability to work on own initiative to come up with innovative solutions
- Ability to carry out critical analog layouts
Senior Mixed Signal Design Engineer
- Proven mixed signal CMOS track record in volume production
- Responsible for PLL blocks, ADC, bias cells, interface to baseband, top level radio simulation, co-simulation with baseband.
- At least 5 years industrial experience.
- Excellent communications skills and ability to work on own initiative to come up with innovative solutions
- Ability to floorplan and understanding of IO and other interfacing issues
