Applications Manager

 

Based in the Company’s headquarters in Dublin, Ireland, the APPLICATIONS MANAGER:

  • Contribute to achieving corporate business goals by:

— Developing applications/use case related technical enablement tools in order to help accelerate customers' adoption and integration of DecaWave Products in their equipment
— Providing technical support to these customers during their design phase.

  • Manage, grow and develop the applications team to perform this activity.

 

Duties include:

  • Manage the applications team to achieve stated goals including setting out work plans, assigning tasks, tracking progress vs. plan, dealing with unexpected issues as arising and so on
  • Develop existing applications team resources in conjunction with HR by identifying training and professional development
  • Grow and manage the applications team, by hiring new personnel, as required to deliver on business requirements
  • Deal with customer technical inquiries as arising in priority order up to and including on-site customer visits as necessary
  • Provide technical support to the sales team to ensure design ins and design wins at customers
  • Ensure all product technical collateral is up to date and make sure processes exist to keep it so
  • Develop a library of relevant application notes and other applications specific material to support the use of DecaWave products by customers
  • Implement specific customer programs as necessary
  • Advise customers on the regulatory situation around UWB and the steps they need to take to certify their product
  • Develop medium term marketing and business development applications tools to support new market entry (prototypes, demo kits as agreed with VP Business Devt & Marketing)
  • Gather customer feedback, suggestions and ideas in order to make recommendations for design enhancements or modifications to meet the ever-changing availability of technology and needs of the customer base
  • Drive the Applications roadmap that includes evaluation kits and gets it approved and executed
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations management, sales, and marketing
